Hey, Jools! Nice to know a little bit more about you.
I'm also in England. I'm the founder of Fishhome, and I started this forum/database to have a different approach to the regular old fish forum.
My SO and I (most of them are his right now, but I've had 8 tanks of my own at a time in the past) a 120g goldfish tank with sterletss (temporarily), 40g tropical community tank, 40g tank that will be a South American Amazon Biotope of some kind, a 6g tank for aquascaping practice, and a pond with goldfish. We also have a 15g tropical terrarium.
I've kept FO (fish only) saltwater tanks, brackish water tanks, freshwater, and whatever I can get my hands on for 7 years. I adore aquatic life and ichthyology. So, I'm glad to see some like minded people here!
Aquatic life I've kept:
Kribensis
Cherry barbs
Corydoras
Brevis
Green Clown Goby
SW cleaner shrimp and crabs
Damsels
4 types of FW shrimp
Rummynose tetra and other various tetra
Platies
Gourami
Mudskippers
Ok, I'll stop there! hehe
Welcome again to FH, Jools!
i wondered wehter you were from england or not quite a varied amount of species you have kept
my biggest tropical tank i kept was a 6ftx2ftx2ft tank originally it was a community tank but decided to have just a schoal of silver sharks which looked great until my hubby introduced to pacos supposidly vegetarian and they ate the sharks I had the twins who are now 7 so i had to get rid of it as they were banging it and I was afraid of half a ton of water on my living room floor.......
Welcome to Fishhome Jools =) Glad that you joined. Sounds like you have a really busy life, with all the fish and other pets, plus your studying. Not to mention having six kids, which is the biggest job by far someone could have.
your telling me they have been poorly too this week when one ails they all ail.........still roll on the weekend... i was thinking dangerous i know lol I could write some articles on marine life but dont know wewther it woulod be appropiate for you to put on its just some of my own work i have done form colledge but covers many aspects of marine life form and function let me know if you are interested some of them are quite long though

Those articles sound great, joolie. I've loved seeing your photos and other information so far. I'm sure they'd be a great addition to the forum. Just send any articles you want us to consider to me or corylover. We'll have a look at them ASAP.
